Association

Sudbrook Park, Inc. enjoys the distinction of being one of the county's oldest and most active community associations. Since its inception in 1908, SPI has been instrumental in preserving the beauty, history, and cohesiveness of the neighborhood. The association's civic activism has protected the community from such potentially devastating projects as the six-lane Northwest Expressway and Baltimore Metro line. The annual traditions that residents have cherished for decades-Halloween and July 4th Parades, Holiday Tree Lighting, Flower and Bake Sale, and Arts in the Park reflect the dedication and energy of association members. Membership dues support not only these time-honored traditions, but also help underwrite numerous Sudbrook beautification projects: tree plantings, triangle restoration, as well as maintenance.
